Go Travel and See The Hohensalzburg Fortress in Salzburg, Austria

Let’s go travel and see this time Salzburg City in Austria. We feature this time the Hohensalzburg Fortress or Castle which is considered to be the symbol of Salzburg. It is the largest and best-preserved citadel in Europe. Its construction begun in 1077 under Archbishop Gebhard. We have been to this city twice but we never had the chance to go up to the castle. You can go up to the castle by means of a funicular railway. Another alternative is a 10-minute walk by way of the Festungsghasse. We considered Salzburg one of the interesting cities in Europe! Have fun viewing all the photos here!
